I'm the lead on a team producing Built for War, a fan TRO that will feature new art by Matt Plog and Anthony Scroggins for over a hundred units. The TRO is still in development, but we're announcing it now so people can check it out and give us feedback. We'll be releasing a preview TRO on April 30th.
Our blog - builtforwar.blogspot.com - has details, updates, and advance previews.
We're seeking contributions, but we're not making any money off the project and all contributions go to paying the artists. Built for War will be free to download when completed.
Hope you like what you see.

We said we'd release a preview of our fan TRO project, Built for War, on April 30th, and here it is. Since Sarna won't let me post links yet, click the one in my sig to go to our blog, which has the download link for the PDF.
NOTE: A couple of people have had minor issues with the text; if you see any, such as blurry text, please let us know. The more info we have, the easier a time we'll have figuring out what's causing it and how to fix it.

Very cool.
Couple of things
#1 Your blog link doesn't work. This is your blog link: Obviously a few extra things in there. http://www.sarna.net/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/180404/an/0/page/builtforwar.blogspot.com
#2 Regarding the text. The fluff page is fine and readable. But the information/stats page seems like it's a different, thinner font. The text appears quite faint and is hard to read.
The Brass Bull. Thane. Hulagu and Veles are okay. The other units all have the washed-out look on the stats text.

Here's some screencaps to illustrate the difference. The artwork, which I omitted, looks good. Doesn't look washed out.

Downloaded the new update for this and the text is a mess of gibberish in the fluff section. Yet the text for the stats and such is fine. Not sure what happen, but three downloads later and still have the same issue, beyond that the layout looks good.

Fascinating, so far you're the only person to report an issue like that. Can you take some screencaps so I can see what's going on?

Cool, seems to be an issue with the embedded .pdfs I used for the stats. Common issue, will have to figure out a way around that.

Are the fonts embedded? Maybe the computers are substituting something for missing fonts, hence the problems
