I don't know how many of you remember these, but: Back in the '80s, an outfit called TCI repackaged plastic model kits from _Robotech_ and other properties to create "minis" for _BT_. Pic at link below:
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-oDJIK5uIi0M/Tk...ech_model_2.jpg .
Included in each was an insert featuring the 'Mech specs, plus a mini-scenario.
I'm wondering: Has anyone ever managed to compile in one place all the inserts and their contents?

Never seen them in person, but I'm also interesting in seeing that info collected!
Try talking to Highball or Jal Phoenix (from the official site), GRUD (and others at BTU or LotB), or Medron Pryde (and others at HeavyMetalPro).

I have all of the inserts for the kits #1 through #10 and #12. The only one I don't have is for kit #11 - the wasp fighter and phoenix hawk fighter. I would love to get a copy of that one if anyone has it!

I think I have #11 -- between the two of us, we might be able to Do Something....

I built a shadowhawk and a scorpion from these when I was in Highschool. Loved them. I would give eyeteeth to get copies of the scenario and stats for those mechs again!
it said "spam" up the leg....

It's been a while since anyone's replied to this discussion. Is there a central location which has scans or PDFs of the pack-in scenarios from the Twentieth Century Imports kit sets? I can't find one, unfortunately.

I have all of them except for kit #11. PM me with your contact info and I can give you the ones I have. Still need #11 if anyone has that one!

Sarna unfortunately doesn't have any coverage of these model kits yet - in part because I for one am not prepared to pay the outrageous prices for which these collector's items are offered on Ebay et al.
Purdyrc, it would be great if you could kindly bring yourself to write the article(s) on these kits, and in particular, if you could provide photos of the kits as well as the included stat sheets and scenario sheets. The worlds wants to know! If you cannot do this, alternatively, I'd be grateful if you could simply take photos and email them to be, then I'd take care of the articles here on Sarna. (frabbybc at googlemail dot com) Like I said, the really useful stuff would be readable photos of the stat sheets and scenarios.

OK, looked through my collection -- no #11.
For that matter: Does anyone know what kit #11 contained? ISTR once seeing a TCI kit claiming to be a _Leopard_ DropShip with 'Mech (actually a repurposed _Minerva_ from _Crusher Joe_), but don't remember the number for it; and eBay doesn't have a record of past auctions any more.

#11 was the Wasp Fighter and Phoenixhawk Fighter - not a real popular seller, which likely explains why there aren't very many around these days. #12 was the large Crusher Joe Minerva (Leopard dropship varient) with a pair of mechs. That was one of the four I forwarded to the moderator to get his opinion on the quality and format of the files. Waiting on feedback before I scan/format the rest of them.

Oh... if you're still waiting for feedback then you apparently didn't get my email. To summarize: Yay!! Very happy. More please! (And if possible, could you also provide product and box front/back photos?)

OK, Frabby. I've sent the remaining scans your way, along with a couple dozen photos and a short term-paper on the lineage of these kits. Please let me know if I can provide any other background or photos!

Oh by the way Purdyrc - if you can find the time, it would be great if you could take the missing photos (see article) and email them to me so I can upload them, and thus complete the article.
