Hi,
So I want to field protomechs and understand that after The Society dragged this concept through the mud only Clan Hell's Horses and Snow Raven are still interested in doing so. I've also been told that protomech pilots are all aerospace washouts without a phenotype of their own.
So why do Cloud Cobra, Star Adder, Burrock, Stone Lion and Sea Fox have bloodnames of this type? What are these blood-named doing? Why has Snow Raven not bothered?
Just trying to understand the lore around this a little better.

Possible answer to the blood named issue comes from the clans history.
As they did challenge and sometimes won the genetic material from other clans, they also took bondsmen in combat. So that my be where they got the names/bloodlines for it.
As for the rest, Someone else will have to answer it.
Also, maybe come up with a better answer for the blood names.
