Looks decent for its era. I'd suggest dropping some heat sinks and a laser in exchange for an LRM-5 so you still have a harassing option at range. Or drop the jets and a couple lasers to strap a PPC and some heat sinks on. Then it's not that different from the original BattleMaster though...

Looks a better version of the Charger and that is not a good thing.

(that's kind of mean. )
I don't think it looks like the Charger at all...
That thing was 80 Tons with a 400-Rated Engine and a meager five Small Lasers as armament. This one is a 4/6/4 85-Tonner with six Medium Lasers and a twin SRM-6 mule kick. It cost more than the Charger and came out later as well.
What about it reminds you of the Charger?

This style of mech could be taken down by a Phoenix Hawk, do to the large laser on it. No way to catch the Hawk. Even a Panther could do it. So an assault mech that is scared off by a light mech isn't good. Same movement profile, with a much longer range weapon. The jets give it some way to catch some of the grounded mechs in bad terrain, but as said about the atlas. The lrm supply runs out, and you are stuck with an ambush style mech. Which isn't bad, in rough terrain, as well as city fights. In the open? Not so good. Though Urbanmechs might fall, but they can outrange it until their ammo runs out.
The ac20 is one of the reasons I think the atlas is so feared. If you neutralize that, it has a pair of front firing lasers and an srm 6 pack in short range. The 20 pack runs out of ammo, and you retreat as best you can.
As for some changes, maybe switching the 6 packs to lrm 10s. Maybe a pair of 5's with both. More to hit roles, but not wasting as much ammo on small things.

2 Holly SRM 6s 6 Martell Medium Lasers
It has the same weapons profile of the Charger, you built an 85 ton mech that is armed like it's a 35 or 45 ton mech.
It has NO heavy weapons, and the SRM6s...cool, but again I can fit the same profile of weapons on 40 ton lighter chassis that can out run this thing and out fight it. And I can get two of them for the same cost as this one.
So it's a Charger in all but name.
