==Overview:==
The CRD-3R Crusader had a long, successful production history, and numerous variants of the basic design served in the armed forces of the Star League. When the SLDF left the Inner Sphere the need for this work horse was again found and the Crusader was able to rise and give service once again in the noble cause to the Clans as it did for the Star League.

==Capabilities:==
The Crusader has a well-deserved reputation as a reliable, versatile 'Mech. Commonly found in command and fire lances, the 'Mech is equally at home alongside Marauders and Thunderbolts in close-assault units. Some versions have even served as scout 'Mechs, but this is rare.

The combination of Great Bow LRM and MPA-14 Mod. 12a Streak SRM launchers proved a potent weapon system, giving the Crusader excellent firepower at both long and short ranges.

The Crusader's original Hawk SRMs and Phoenix LRMs are back but this time in the form of better guidence systems like the Artimes IV Fire Control System and Streak Lock and Fire Systems.

The unique location of the MPA-14 Mod. 12a Streak on the 'Mech's hips gives the Crusader both a stable firing platform and a good field of fire.
The arm-mounted Longbow launchers caused trouble in earlier models, however the Clans have fixed this with the use of better internal sturcture and the Great Bow launchers.

Overall this truely awesome machine has become an even more effective war machine under the Clans.

==Battle History:==
The Crusader has long and valiant battle history and no singal paragraph or short write up would do it justice.

==Deployment==
The Crusader is found mainly in Wolf and Jade Falcon second line units, with the Ghost Bears having the next highist group of the mech. The Smoke Jaguars had a few in their totem but all reports suggest most of these were lost in the fight on Huntress.

More to balance out things...I didn't want everything in one location per say...thus if the missile launchers are critted or the unforeseen happens and the torso is gone, I would still have the lasers.
