Too fast to have the feel of a true urbie, too thin rear armor, and ammo is albeit thin.

Too Fast? All I did was double the speed, it's not reaching any world or universe records for speed and yes the ammo is thin, but thing is are you going to burn through all 20 in one turn? No. Plus this one like the original will have friends around, like infantry and tanks and other mechs to help it out.

So because it's faster it's not an Urbanmech...okay noted.

would really be an urban mech with a 20 instead of 2 fives. Bumping it up 10 tons should be more of the not an urbanmech cry then the speed.
Still usable, though I wonder why you are doing this section instead of kj.

It's use is limited by the ammo. It's endurance is as bad as some atlas's AC/20.

The weight saved by the ac 20 over the twin 5s should give you more ammo capacity.
Granted its better to have some energy weapons on it, or maybe go with missile packs. Short, or possibly mmls.
One other issue with the ac 5's is the minimum range. In a city that is more likely. Not saying 3 is bad, but range of one makes it hard to aim...

Ah right forgot about minimal ranges.

Kind of counterintuitive when you use an "Urban"Mech.

Might have been the reason for the ac 10 in to original design.
It would be the same issue with a ppc so a large laser or several medium ones would be better.

Maybe the most dangerous urban suicide machine.. use all mgs. That should really piss the enemy off when the mgs find the weak spots in their armor.

I would swop out the 5s for Large Lasers and add another ton of armor.
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.

That's actually a common complaint about player-made Urbies. If it doesn't look and move like a waddling trashcan, then some folks feel it isn't an Urbanmech.

I mean, I don't like the 2/3 movement curve, but I can't bring myself to make the Urbanmech faster. I call it a different name.

Kinda the same for me, but I'll allow myself to bump it up to 3/5/3 as an uprade, as long as it's more-or-less the same otherwise.

Same here, the IIC kind of shows the maximum speed an urbie can go and still be an urbie.

Well if it shows you everywhere you might want to go then it would be an atlas. Or you could name your mech Map. LOL

Depends Retry, is all it facing is Battlearmor and unarmored infantry then it could indeed be used in the role the Atlas was original for, terrorizing the enemy and thus it would be very powerful against things not coming even close to the total weight. But I guess role of the mech isn't important to you as the name is.

television. The one thing that came make the difference in parents lives. It teaches them and on the bad side, it teaches them.

Now the arguement of feeling like an urban mech. It is 10 tons heavier then the original.

The interesting thing is I have never heard anyone complain the 100 ton marauder II or the 80 ton Marauder IIc didn't feel like a marauder.

That's because someone canon in-universe made it and it's not a custom build.

So it may not feel like a Marauder, but a Marauder II would feel like a Marauder II.
