As one of the highest and rarest awards granted in the [[Federated Suns]], the [[Medal Excalibur]] has a small and notable number of recipients over the centuries.

* In 3027 [[Hanse Davion]] pledged to award the Medal Excalibur posthumously to ever member of the [[Kell Hounds]] who perished in the [[Silver Eagle Incident]] once the story could be told.
