The '''Reagan Space Defense System''' was the largest [[Space Defense System]] ever built and the prime defense of the [[Terra]] system. Developed during the original [[Star League]], it was destroyed by the [[SLDF]] during [[Operation LIBERATION]], at enormous cost. Rebuilt by the [[Word of Blake]], it repeatedly defeated large task forces until it was again destroyed during [[Operation SCOUR]].

The planet [[Huntress]] in the [[Clan Homeworlds]] implemented its own version of the Reagan SDS, though at a smaller scale. It was destroyed by [[Task Force Serpent]] during the [[Battle of Huntress (3060)|Battle of Huntress]].
