The initial [[BattleTech, 2nd Edition]] rulebook contained only blank record sheets that players had to fill out. Notably, game stats for BattleMechs as given in the rulebooks and [[Technical Readout]]s do not mention where extra [[heat sink]]s (those that are not integral to the engine) are mounted, nor is it always clear if lower arm and hand actuators are present on a given design.
