I disagree with that statement. The "aka" part is almost certainly wrong, as I've never heard or seen a reference to Jordan Weisman calling him the father of BattleTech; I'm not convinced of the veracity of the statement either. When you look at ''[[Battledroids]]'', Weisman is credited with development but the background writing credits go to Patrick Larkin and Steve Peterson and not to Weisman. I'm not saying Weisman wasn't involved, but calling him the father of BattleTech seems like a stretch to me.
