My fascination of BattleTech (classic one) went through different stages: when I first hooked, I was intrigued by the mechs. I was only a teen back then, and as a typical teen, giant robots fascinated me. When I went through my twenties, I learned the human drama of BattleTech. Of course, my romantic side also caught up with the BattleTech. Now? Politics! I am old enough to understand the complex politics of BattleTech. It's still in my computer, and I have played it in every way possible, and each time I learned new things. Man, what a game. This is IMHO the best BattleTech/MechWarrior game ever. The graphics are rudimentary compared to current games, but the realism and playability are incredible. The best thing (and the only thing that stands out from other BattleTech/Mechwarrior games) about this game is that the campaign continues even if I fail a mission, however, it goes to a different path. And sometimes the game is so much more fun if I take the 'losing' path. It's 10 years old, but it has a special place in my hard disk. + + *'''''Sarna.net.''''' I was not much of a writer when I first stumbled upon this website. The fanfiction section of the old Sarna.net interested me so much that I visited the website every day, and read all the fanfics. Then I started to think that I could do better than some of the authors. Guess what? I sucked! My first one was an embarrasment to BattleTech community. My second fared better fate, but still sucked. Boy, I always smile when I remember those time when I had to endure flames after flames from other authors.
