They fought to the best of their hability but were forced to surrender, but not before a number of mechwarriors within the Hussars who were violently opposed to the idea of surrendering started a combat with those wanting to surrender (in what became known as the Battle of Traitor's Grove) where nineteen Hussars [['Mech]]s were destroyed before the faction asking for surrender was victorious.
