The blow of losing so many good soldiers over the years took its toll on Ellman and he finally retired in 3016 after the fighting on [[Wyatt]]. At the urging of Colonel Wolf, he would be the guiding hand in training the next generation of Dragoons as the head of the Dragoon Training Command.
