History

The Golden Hind was named in honor of the famous Age of Sail privateer the Golden Hind, captained by Francis Drake. From at least 2741 to 2764, it was the premier vessel of the Eighty-fourth Pursuit Squadron, having under the command of Commodore Sandra Bernard claimed more bandit kills than any other ship in the Eighth Fleet.[1]
