Major General Renzo "RR" Rizzo was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 173rd BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]

Rizzo's ability to appear unexpectedly wherever major problems were happening was famous amongst his troops, as was his ability to remember any soldier's name, homeworld, and billet. Rizzo was an old friend of LIV Corps CO Major General Kelson Ripley, and the tales they told about their long SLDF careers over dinner together were legendary.[1]
