In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Catalyst Game Labs put BattleTech-themed face masks up for sale for US$ 11.99 on 10 September 2020. Expressly said to meed the CDC guidelines, they were described as simple, low-profile cotton/spandex blend masks that were washable, reusable three-ply fabric featuring cotton, with non-adjustable ear loops. Only one size was available.
