With the defense weakened, the 36th begin their charge. The inexperienced Light Cavalry was destroyed by the Sword of Light, while the Genyosha was held in reserve. The defending Mercs assumed overall command and tried to save as many defenders as possible. With the arrival of the homecoming Northwind Hussar's, the DCMS was outnumbered and began to retreat.
