Their first attack was small and easily repulsed by [[Longwood's Bluecoats]]. However, when the mercenaries approached a bandit ''[[Scorpion (BattleMech)|Scorpion]]'' [[BattleMech]] they had disabled, the bandit pilot detonated his own SRM stores thus destroying himself and the 'Mech before it could be salvaged.
