Keck served in Warrior House Hiritsu under the command of Felix Jarta. An amateur mathematician, Keck liked to calculate and play the odds when assessing what to do in battle, though his lancemates didn't appreciate being informed about how close they had come to death.[1] Keck is likely related to Jim Keck, who fought for the Confederation during the Fourth Succession War with Kerr's Intruders.[2]

Keck was known to have piloted a VTR-V1-H Vulture Mk IV OmniMech, nicknamed "Lè Yúan" (Paradise).[1]
