He was born into a farming family in [[Issaba]].<ref name="Scars">''Scars''</ref>

He decided not to follow in his family's footsteps and in [[3048]] falsified his papers and lied about his age to the [[LAAF]] recruiter and joined the [[Federated Commonwealth]] forces as an infantryman, where he served for eight years, and left the service to become a [[mercenary]] in [[3056]] with a lot of experience and scars but without any major wounds.<ref name=JobSecurity>''Job Security''</ref>

His work as a mercenary had him travel a bit, but by [[3062]] he was operating only on [[Solaris VII]]. During those years he lost a kidney in action, and increased his scars to more than one hundred.<ref name=BloodPrice>''Blood Price''</ref>

In 3062, he participated in an operation to sabotage [[Skye Tigers Stables]]' recently procured [[OmniMech]], a [[Clan Ghost Bear]] ''[[Gargoyle (Man O' War)|Man O' War]]'', on the [[James Stroud (LC)|James Stroud]] estate - the Skye Tigers Estate located in [[Silesia]]. With two other mercenaries he executed the raid and during it they rescued [[Erik Gray]], which was indeed a good thing for them as his actions during the shootout that had them pinned in the estate's warehouse might have killed them. Erik Gray piloted the OmniMech to safety and they escaped, later destroying the 'Mech.<ref name=BytheNumbers/>

Unknown to him, James Stroud accused [[Drew Hasek-Davion]] of ordering mercenaries to sabotage the OmniMech.<ref name=IoVp>''Illusions of Victory''</ref>

A short time after this, while he was on the shooting range of the Kubler Street Gun Club in [[Silesia]] when Erik Gray arrived to speak with him. He needed help to get the best contract with the [[Solarian Games Denizens#Gangsters|Eternal Flames]], the only ones offering a [[MechWarrior (pilot)|MechWarrior]] combat slot. The Unnamed Soldier accepted, and after some days he and Erik met unarmed in [[Silesia|The Copper Coin]] with the three triad representatives: two triad lieutenants and Jonas, a lawyer who had past experience with Erik. Thanks to planning by the Unnamed Soldier, Erik was able to get good terms in the contract.<ref name=JobSecurity/>

Nothing more is known of his actions on Solaris until the start of the [[Jihad]] in [[3068]], though during this time he made a friend of Erik Gray.

He joined the [[Solaris Home Defense League]] and participated in the defense of [[Solaris City]], using a [[Cavalier]] battlesuit borrowed from Lyran units that joined their resistance movement. The first battle went well and they countered the [[WoB]] forces (the [[25th Division (Word of Blake)|Twenty-fifth Division]]),<ref name="Scars"/> though in the end they needed to leave the city, escaping from the WoB units. He described himself as the author of the unit's strategy that had Erik Gray give the orders as MechWarriors follow orders better from someone they consider their peer.<ref name="Scars"/>

During the escape he was wounded in his Cavalier battle armor, leaving Erik to lead the unit. They were able to gain some advantage on the WoB forces when they encountered several unregistered 'Mechs that turned out to belong to several second-class stables: [[Midnight Stables]], [[Manticore Stables]], [[Jacobite Stables]] and the [[Streholm Cooperative]], all of them led by [[Shen Driscoll]]. They reach an agreement based on sharing of video time in the transmissions being sent outside. Their group is able to recover the initiative and break the WoB's back, forcing those units to retreat to Solaris City.<ref name=StalkingtheLegends>''Stalking the Legends''</ref>

That same year, and while defending Nowhere City and [[Blue Point Weapons]], he was hijacked by an unknown party dressed in WoB colors. It turned out to be [[Connor DeLon]]'s doing and that of his [[yakuza]] clan, who wanted to "help" and be helped by the SHDL to increase their power. After strong negotiations, where he is able to turn the tables and get a guarantee that the contract will be followed – Connor DeLon cutting off part of his finger – he agreed to the proposal, asking that his one percent be paid to the SHDL in parts.<ref name=BloodPrice/>

It is unknown whether he survived the Jihad, though it seems quite probable. Nothing is known of him after the 3068 incident.{{cn}}
