Jihad & Destruction
The 11th Arcturian Guards were devastated by the Word of Blake controled Battlecruiser LAS Invicible when it fired "Warning Shot" at Tharkad City in December, 3067. The WarShip's capital grade weapons utterly destroyed core of the Arcturan Guards, covering rest under the rumble. Leaving the fellow garrison force, 24th Lyran Guards to fend off the coming attack by the 37th Division of the Word of Blake.[1]
Officers
Before 3060, the Commanding Officer was Lieutenant General Maria Esteban. Later, during the FedCom Civil War, it was Lieutenant General Linda McDonald.
Tactics
The 11th Arcturan Guards spent years hunting Periphery bandits, and has lots of specialized small units for almost all imaginable circumstances. However, the 11th has little to no experience in large-scale operations above Regiment-level.
