Roy Chapman-Potemkin was the aide to the commander of Duke's and Duchess's Own Corps of Foot and Horse as of 3085. [1]

History[edit]

Colonel Chapman-Potemkin, serving with the First Fusiliers of Oriente, was stationed on Griffith in 3050 and remained there by 3067.[2][3][4] Chapman-Potemkin was an unorthodox officer who was willing to try any tactic if it successfully accomplished his unit's mission, which earned him suspicion and ridicule from the commanders of other units.[3] In spite of his reputation—after the Free Worlds League dissolved during the Jihad—Chapman-Potemkin was promoted to Marshal and became the aide to Duke Thomas Halas, commander of all Duchy of Oriente forces.[1]
