Template:InfoBoxIndividualSpacegoingVessel The Justice was a Titan-class DropShip serving with Clan Ghost Bear as of 3057[1], specifically the 72nd Assault Trinary, 304th Assault Cluster, Beta Galaxy.[2] It was evidently modified, as it was shown to be capable of deploying 'Mechs both to a planetary surface[3] and in space[4]. In the quest of the 72nd Assault Trinary to recover stolen genetic heritage, the Justice traveled with the JumpShip Bear's Legacy.

Canonicity

The only source featuring the Justice is the 1995 Ghost Bear's Legacy expansion pack to the MechWarrior 2 computer game. Computer games as such are expressly excluded from the current definition of Canon, and even though canonical products do make an effort to treat (most) computer game storylines as canonical, this still does not mean content from the games is canon if it was not picked up in canonical sources. Thus, the Justice, having never been mentioned in a canonical pulication, remains apocryphal.

Notes

  • While the class of the Justice is never explicitly stated within the game, several in-game cutscenes clearly depict the very distinct shape of a Titan-class DropShip in great detail, and a less detailed but still clearly identifiable Titan-class DropShip features in two missions, being explicitly identified as the Justice in the briefing for final main storyline mission ("Destroy Orbital Platform") which begins and ends on the outer hull of the Justice.[4]
  • Titan-class assault DropShips are normally only capable of carrying aerospace fighters, not 'Mechs. It follows that the Justice must have been modified in some way, but the game provides no information at all except the name and visual depiction of the ship.
