Ship Descriptino

The RSS San Diego was an Castrum-class Pocket-WarShip type DropShip which served the Navy of the Republic of the The Sphere in the Thirty-Second Century.

History

The ship most noted actions was after Fortress Republic protocol was executed, which like her other sister ships, returned to Prefecture X of the Republic for safekeep and for the defense of the nation.

As Republic secretly deployed it's forces outside the Fortress's walls, the San Diego was assigned as a escort on the Davion-Kurita front. Her most noted actions was during mission to Quentin during the 3140s. Where the ship was conducting raid of the system. The ship would soon see escaping Dropship leaving the planet. The San Diego, lead her task force of aerospace craft to intercept what would turn out to be Nekohono’o-class DropShip, the Burradi Mōki. As the San Diego and other Republican ships began to weither away the Draconis Combine's escaping ship, additional forces would scramble from the surface of the planet to try to render aid. It would be captain of the San Diego would figured out the DropShip why the House Kurita forces were so desperate to save the Dropship and it's escorts so desperately. It would be found out later that contained that Dieron Warlord ,Tai-shu Kambei Okamoto was the passanger on the ship. He had been on world inspecting newly refitted Independence Weapons factory site.

The San Diego used it's capital and sub-capital weaponry to cripple the DropShip. Marines from the San Diego would end up killing the Warlord and causing the Prefecture leadership to be crippled.[1]

  • It is not known when exactly when Warlord Okamoto was killed. It's assume it was during the events of 3150.
