The '''Twenty-first Royal Jump Infantry Division''' was a part of the [[Star League Defense Force]] Regular Army. It was one of the [[Star League Defense Force Royal Divisions|SLDF's Royal units]], which consisted of troops from the [[Terran Hegemony]].

==History==
The Twenty-first played a critical role in the [[War of Davion Succession]]. The unit landed on [[Breed]], facing off against the [[Draconis Combine]]'s [[4th Sword of Light]]. Hoping to use the terrain to their advantage, the Sword withdrew over rocky and broken ground. The Roo Brigade simply jumped their Kanga tanks over the ground, supported by the jump infantry. Seeing the [[SLDF]] troops easily maneuvering over terrain that had slowed their 'Mechs to a crawl, the Sword of Light sued for peace.<ref name=er2750p55/>

In [[2764]], the unit was assigned, as a part of the [[XLIII Corps (Star League)|XLIII Corps]], [[17th Army (Star League)|Seventeenth Army]], to the [[Periphery Military Region]].<ref name=SL155>''The Star League'', p. 155, "Seventeenth"</ref>.
