Settled at some point prior to the end of the [[Age of War]]<ref name="HB:MPSp93"/> '''Adherlwin''' was a member of the Magistracy of Canopus when a [[Star League Defense Force]] task force under the command of [[Captain-General]] [[Marion Marik]] was assigned to conquer the [[Magistracy of Canopus]] in [[2577]]. Adherlwin was targetted by the SLDF in [[2583]] with the [[60th Brigade]] from [[VII Corps (Star League)|VII Corps]] assigned to conquering Adherlwin with the [[403rd Independent Regiment]] in support.<ref name="H:RWp102"/><ref name="H:RWp149">''Historical: Reunification War'', p. 149, "Magistracy Of Canopus Front (2583-2588)"</ref>

Adherlwin was a center for industry and light mining operations, but didn't merit a [[MAF]] garrison and was conquered in short order by a SLDF task force, part of a lightning campaign that saw four worlds conquered in two months, completing the encirclement of [[Canopus]]. Adherlwin would be occupied by the SLDF for the remainder of the war; once the [[Reunification War]] ended, a number of Magistracy worlds were annexed by the [[Free Worlds League]], but Adherlwin remained a part of the Magistracy.<ref name="H:RWp102"/><ref name="H:RWp158"/>
