Kellington's Disease is a degenerative nerve condition native to Addicks, which doesn't affect humans, but can infect animals.

Native Addicks animals are immune to Kellington's, though as of 3120 it was estimated that up to 60% of animals on that world were carriers, and accordingly they were quarantined, tested and potentially culled when transported to other worlds such as Towne in 3132.[1]
