Overview
Da Silva's SL-15 Slayer suffered heavy damage when it engaged the DropShip's fighter escorts near Verthandi. Left adrift, unable to maneuver and with failing life support, it still retained power to its weapons.[1]
As Gray Death pilot Jeffric Sherman's Chippewa passed in front of da Silva's fighter, the Kuritan opened fire at point-blank range, inflicting severe damage with repeated hits.[2]
Raoul da Silva did not live long enough to celebrate his sneak attack. Jeffric Sherman's fellow pilot, Sue Ellen Klein, targeted his Slayer and destroyed its cockpit with her missiles.[3]
