==Fidelis leader==
The leader of the Fidelis is [[Paul Moon]]. The citation is a forum post by the author of ''[[Surrender Your Dreams]]'', [[Blaine Lee Pardoe]]. In that post, he names Paul Moon as the person holding onto the CSJ Remembrance in the epilogue. ==Rebelscum==
It states in the [[Clan Wolf]] source book that the Clans who had won the right to be invading forces of the [[Inner Sphere]] then bid and challenged one another for the rights to specific invasion corridors.
    
[[Clan Smoke Jaguar]] was the most successful of these, and won the rights for the prestigious Draconis Corridor, while [[Clan Jade Falcon]] seized the Lyran Corridor.  [[Clan Ghost Bear]] disappointed many with a poor performance in these trials, earning only the Rasalhague/Draconis Corridor.   

[[Clan Wolf]] was exempt from the preliminary trials, but included in the invasion force due to the fact that they carried the [[Kerensky]] bloodline.  Likewise, they were exempt from the invasion corridor trials and given the Lyran-Rasalhague corridor by the Crusader Clans, as it seemed to have the least room for glory to be reaped.  

None of this is directly quoted.

Some of this info is not needed in this specific article, but the Jaguar info is quite pertinent (I assume).  How would I go about inserting it without stepping on the feet of the authors?  Or is this info no longer cannon?

:I am assuming the three paragraphs above are from one of the official sources (verbatim). If that is so, then they cannot be directly quoted. Rally, the closest thing we have to direct quotes in this wiki are the book articles, which allow direct quotes from the backs of the books themselves, but not from within the book. 
:If you feel something is pertinent, find the best place -chronologically-speaking- to insert it. Each article is a [[Policy:Consensus|consensus]] effort, whether one or many Editors have contributed. If only one has contributed, that means every other Editor (and ''each'' visitor) who reads the page agrees with the format and the content. If someone does not like the information you have placed, they will either move/remove it or open a discussion about it. 
:Regarding canonicity: as long as something was once discussed by a canon source, it is allowable here. ::I've read the Clan Wolf Sourcebook, and that's simply not the version that I recall. Look at the invasion corridors. Which are best positioned for an eventual strike at Terra? The central ones, naturally, that tend to be less defended by the FRR than the successor states. -::::::This actually was not verbatim (to the best of my knowledge), my Wolf Clan source book is at a friend's house where we played BattleTech.  I just happen to have a sharp memory for things I have read, and a vocabulary that shows it.  I was instilled with excellent writing skills, so I could be utilized as my professor's slave editor, which then happened, I have the credit to prove so.  But more pertinent is this issue:  The flanks of the invasion were viewed as the highest honor available, as they would be facing the brunt of the fighting.  And further, the crusader's plans backfired as the Wolves leaped ahead of all other clans, being the first to abandon the wave strategy plotted by Leo Showers, a strategy that was meant to ensure that the Wolves would be held back.  In the Blood of Kerensky novels, the Smoke Jaguars went so far as to demand a trail of grievance against the Wolves for abandoning the plan (as well as the fact that they were smarting from the death of their beloved ilKhan and wished some sort of satisfaction), but were then verbally embarrassed in front of the Grand Council on Strana Mechty essentially for whining (un-clanlike behavior). Thanks for the quickness of response as well as the intensity.  That was why I did NOT want to rush into editing this, no matter how bold we are instructed to be. -:::::::It is also important to remember that the concept of ilClan was introduced by Ulric Kerensky upon being elected ilKhan, something to favor his Wolves after the dishonor of being held back by politics.  Prior to the invasion, there were no plans for a clan to be the official superior, but instead all Clans would work together to rebuild the Star League.  That was what the Warden/Crusader conflict revolved around; weather to conquer the Successor States, as the Crusaders desired, or to lead and protect them, as the Wardens desired.[[User:Rebelscum|Rebelscum]] 03:56, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
