Description
The Igor is a four-engined tiltjet design, somewhat resembling the Anhur. The engines are mounted in over-under (when in horizontal configuration) pairs in two rotating pods, one in the center of each wing. The outer section remains parallel to the inner section, similar to the depiction of the Red Kite.
The Igor was in service by 3015 all across the Inner Sphere.
Weapons and Equipment
The Igor was created in a modular fashion so it could be used both for transporting goods and as an attack vehicle.[1] The most common armed configuration of the Igor mounts four Autocannon/2s.
Variants
- 4x Autocannon/2
- 2x Autocannon/10
Notes
- So far, the Igor has only appeared in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, which is considered an apocryphal product.
- No mass is listed in-game; however, the Igor would have to be Super-Heavy in order to carry the demonstrated weaponry.
