Colonel Chia Samrin was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's Fortieth Dragoon Regiment as of 2764.[1]
History
Samrin's Fortieth Dragoon were used as XXXVI Corps's mobile hammer, responding to threats as they arose. However it was ill-equipped to handle the hit-and-fade raiding common on the Draconis Combine - Lyran Commonwealth border where it was assigned, leading to Colonel Samrin being critiqued by his superiors and peers for causing excessive collateral damage to civilians.
