Gary Metcalf was a MechWarrior, who served with the Swordsworn's Ghost Legion, during the Dark Age Era.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Metcalf had gray hair and black eyes.[1]
History[edit]
A Mercenary by nature, Metcalf cared for nothing except money, won either in battle, gambling or from running black market operations. Winning his 'Mech as a stripped-down chassis in a game of W:Poker:Poker, he spend years restoring it, before bartering his ownership of it to gain a Lance command slot within the Ghost Legion. His combat tactics were however extremely risk adverse, preferring to focus on outmatched conventional combat vehicles and infantry, and seeking to avoid enemy fire to the extent possible.[1]
As of 3133, Metcalf commanded an Attack Lance within the Ghost Legion, which also included Romain Tesarek, Revekka Shteysel and Ada Yung.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Metcalf was known to have piloted a Thor OmniMech, serial number HH730-17H, nicknamed "Golden Goose". This 'Mech, built by Clan Hell's Horses, was captured Clan Jade Falcon during a post-Word of Blake Jihad Trial. It was subsequently traded a number of times, before being won by Metcalf in a game of Poker.[1]
