History

Gordon West was a mercenary MechWarrior from some time, but as he was too independent, that life ended up being unbearable for him. His next stop were the Solaris Games. He knew he was lacking the skills to be a real contender in a 'Mech, but he discovered he had talent for management. This was not enough as he can be described as a nice guy in a nasty business: he could not make his way to the top as he was not going to step on his competitors or to flight off the various underworld elements that wanted a piece of his action. This made his stables come and go, and shot his reputation. He jumped at the change to be the stablemaster of the Seven Deadly Sins Stables, despite the mysterious circumstances of his employer's arrival and the unusual terms of his contracts.[1]

Character Traits

Gordon West was a large man with red hair and red beard, with a jolly appearance that matched his outgoing nature. He was an aging MechWarrior with more of a paunch than he would like. He usually wore a flight jacket adorned with the insignia of the various units, stables, cooperatives and warriors with which he had been associated over the years (an impressive collection). He was an easygoing businessman in a job well over his head, a better salesman than stablemaster. Though not a coward, he was not the fearless MechWarrior type, nor did he possess the ruthlessness of most stablemasters.[1]

Notes

His survival of the events in Unbound depends on the Player Characters actions.
