Jirou Kobayashi was a Chu-i in the Fifth Sword of Light.[1]
History
Chu-i Jirou Kobayashi began practicing kendo at the age of ten and is now a renshi rokudan who routinely placed in the top ten in his division, which earns him an invite to the Combine tournament. His exception reflexes served him well in combat, and he anticipated a promotion to command a company.[1]

Kobayashi was a Veteran MechWarrior (Gunnery 2, Piloting 4) with the Hopper and Terrain Master (Mountaineer) Special Piloting Abilities. Hopper requires Kobayashi to have either Maneuvering Ace or Natural Grace (which in turn requires either Dodge, Maneuvering Ace, Melee Specialist, or Speed Demon).[1][2][3]
