Pondering the question if the two ''Captiva''s mentioned 70 years apart in canon are the same ship, I drew a blank... until I realized that both stories are written by Kevin Killiany. With that man's attention to detail, plus the factoid that it's a Rim Commonality ship in the 3130s (the Chaos Irregulars ended up as permanent Rim Commonality military), I can't believe they're not. Which of course doesn't prove anything. But still... Pondering the question if the two Captivas mentioned 70 years apart in canon are the same ship, I drew a blank... until I realized that both stories are written by Kevin Killiany. With that man's attention to detail, plus the factoid that it's a Rim Commonality ship in the 3130s (the Chaos Irregulars ended up as permanent Rim Commonality military), I can't believe they're not.
