Task Force Serpent vs. Operation SERPENT[edit]
One of the previous discussions that's still applicable is the question of whether this article is (or should be) about a unit or an operation. Operation SERPENT currently redirects here, but should it? After trawling through the article in depth for some time, I'm a solid "maybe". "Task Force Serpent" seems to be the more commonly-used term, and often refers to the operation. The operation itself doesn't fit cleanly into the framework used for military engagements, as it took place over a long period of time and saw action against multiple opponents.
I'm not in a hurry to split the article again to make the distinction, but I believe the idea has some merit. Tosta Dojen (talk) 08:37, 4 August 2020 (EDT)
