Ravager is a short story that was published as part of LosTech: The MechWarrior Equipment Guide.
Plot summary
Burke, Paul and Fiona are mercenaries infiltrating a Clan facility in the Inner Sphere. Paul, the tech specialist is trying to ge some data while Fiona and Burke cover him. They do engange a six-man patrol and also engage a Salamander battlearmor. They manage to stall the Salamander suit and are able to escape, barely. In the meantime Paul has been able to steal some Clan information which makes the mission a success.
