Valexi Doffan was a notable officer in the First Battalion of Hamilton's Highlanders during the Fourth Succession War.[1]

Subcommander Doffan, along with the rest of the First Battalion of Hamilton's Highlanders, were assigned with the defense of Tikonov's capital city Tikograd during the 3028 Battle of Tikonov. Doffan's company was personally lead by Colonel Pavel Ridzik in order to counter a major Federated Suns push against the city walls on 8 October. Although facing off against both the Sixth and Eighth Crucis Lancers, Doffan's combat performance was so skillful that he managed to halt an enemy Assault lance on his own. Doffan embodied the fighting spirit of the defenders by destroying two FedSuns 'Mechs while badly damaging two others before being killed himself.[1]
