Veracity

Template:InfoBoxIndividualSpacegoingVessel The Veracity was a Achilles-class DropShip, in service with the mercenary unit Laurel's Legion as of 3039, when it was destroyed.

History

The DropShip was part of Laurel's Legion's floatilla as they endeavoured to escape Biham after a failed invasion of that Draconis Combine world during the War of 3039. During this escape the ship encountered the a Combine picket-line in orbit around the planet, including the DropShop Hideyoshi, which successfully scored a series of heavy hits against the Veracity and seemingly crippled the mercenary DropShip. However, while doomed, the Veracity's drive system was still functional, the Veracity launching escape pods to save some of its crew before the remainder aimed their ship at the Hideyoshi.
