File talk:BattleTech-Kampfkolosse des 4 Jahrtausends, 2nd edition-contents.jpg

This image may be useful for reference's sake (and perhaps for cropping). However it appears to include an English booklet (second booklet from the right) that does not seem to be part of BattleTech-Kampfkolosse des 4 Jahrtausends. Such also does not appear in other displays I have seen of this product. Given the source, it is understandable that additional contents may have added by a prior owner. --Dude RB (talk) 20:38, 23 June 2022 (EDT)

I think I recall this booklet as being a catalog-like insert that showed up in some boxed products around that time. It could be they did not do a German translation. Now I want to go through my stuff in the basement and see if I have that, because it may be a source we don't have anything from. Did it survive that time when the ceiling collapsed and everything flooded. *sighs* I will look when I can.--Talvin (talk) 20:59, 23 June 2022 (EDT)
That is another possibility. It looks familiar to me and I have been scratching head as to where I have seen it before. But I just found it. It is the 1992 Update Flyer. Now whether this was included in the boxed sets (if so, it would depend on the year as there are update flyers for 1991 and 1993) or whether it was distributed by other means I cannot say. This particular image came from ebay.de from a seller based in Germany for a copy sold in April of this year.
I haven't yet found it present in the English versions being sold, but my scan has simply been a sampling. Its lack of sighting could also be due to its presence depending on the product's year or that promotional materials are more likely to get lost or discarded. So one link of a mystery solved but more links remain to resolve. --Dude RB (talk) 21:56, 23 June 2022 (EDT)
