Wayne "Snork" Symons was a member of one of the Star League Defense Force Royal Divisions, and later joined Baroness Jade Sandowski's personal unit the Jade's Rangers on Mirach.[1]

History

In February 2766 the Jade's Rangers, including Symons, accidently engaged a company from the Seventh Crucis Lancers due to a misidentification arising from the Federated Suns unit operating under radio silence while chasing bandit raiders.

In the engagement the better experienced and equipped Rangers defeated the Lancers. The accidental conflict caused larger disputes between the two sides for months afterwards.[1]

BattleMech

Symons piloted a CPLT-C1 Catapult BattleMech.[1]

Notes

  • The Seventh Crucis Lancers were officially not formed until 2784, from a Star League Defense Force unit which did not join Kerensky's Exodus.[2] It therefore is unclear if the name of the unit recorded as participating in this earlier engagement as the Seventh Crucis Lancers is incorrect, or if it is a predecessor unit of the same name.
