Captain John David John was a Federated Suns MechWarrior and member of the 7th Crucis Lancers during the early 31st century.[1][2][3][4]

History
John came from a long line of service to House Davion, including several of his brothers.
Kesai IV
He initially earned distinction as a young MechWarrior during a service of engagements on Kesai IV against elite forces from the Draconis Combine, where despite his 'Mech overheating, he was able to pin down several enemy units after his company commander was killed.[3]
For these actions, as of 3021 his defective heat sinks were replaced, he was promoted to Lieutenant, and he was given command of the Attack Lance, Christoph's Company, Clifton's Battalion of the 7th Crucis Lancers.[4]
Fourth Succession War
During the Fourth Succession War, John earned further honors, distinguishing himself during the siege of Tikonov. His lance assisted with scouting the world ahead of his units main thrust, earning John the Gold Sunburst and promotion to Captain.[1][2]
War of 3039
In the War of 3039, Captain John was on Klathandu IV during the Draconis Combine counterattack under Tai-sa Samuel Nelson, during which his company led the retreat from Pere Urucin. While the retreat itself was considered scandalous, it was only Captain John's recon which allowed the two battalions of the 7th Crucis Lancers to get to safety.[1][2]
