Jeff Travis was a member of Cumberland's Missiliers during the Dark Age era.[1]

Best known for his array of shadowy connections, Jeff Travis used these contacts to secure a rare Clan OmniMech as his personal ride.[1] When the Cumberland's Missiliers homeworld of Cumberland was overrun by the Capellan Confederation in March 3145,[2] the battered Missiliers actively pursued and hired Travis as both a MechWarrior to command one of their recon lances and as a Logistics Officer as they desperately tried to rebuild. With the Federated Suns reeling from dual Capellan and Draconis Combine invasions, rendering official supply channels useless, the Missiliers leaned almost exclusively upon Travis and his black market contacts to secure war matériel they needed to remain afloat.[1]
