Major General Saki Nagasato was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's Seventeenth Royal Mechanized Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]
History[edit]
A simple commander, Nagasato's personal motto was "peace through superior firepower," which was also adopted by her division as its own. Her attitude extended to dismissing the need for the SLDF to win hearts and minds, preferring to simply rely on crushing the rebels who opposed them. Despite an otherwise stellar career, and this attitude not being uncommon amongst Royal Command officers, publicly expressing it while drunk at a social event hosted by General Daishin Makarau was thought to have eliminated any further opportunities for Nagasato to advance in rank.[1]
