:I have spent many hours of free time generating ("cleaning up") images from ''FM:LA'' and ''Camospecs'' (as well as ''FM:DC'' and ''FM:FWL''). I have not gotten to ''FM:Comstar'', ''FM:Crusader Clans'', ''FM:WardenClans'', or ''FM:Periphery'' yet. The LCAF images have been ready for upload for weeks, but I have been distracted and/or busy. Considering the timely debate on page format and image uploads, is there any consensus on how these files should be presented in BTW? The current consensus on [[Policy Talk: Images]] seems to have detractors (specifically RE: size and number of images presented), problems that cannot be addressed by simply placing images in an info box or gallery (c.f. discussion on [[Talk: Armed Forces of the Federated Suns]]). + | It seems like duplicate work having two separate pages for the LCAF and the LAAF - unit names and histories are the same, training academies the same, a few changes thanks to the FedSuns but nothing so radical that it literally ceased to exist/change into something entirely new (i.e. French Royal Army vs French Revolutionary Army). Never mind the fact that the Lyran state went back to its original name. I think the two pages should be merged, with distinctions made within the article when talking the Lyran military during its different phases of existence. Camospecs
- I have spent many hours of free time generating ("cleaning up") images from FM:LA and Camospecs (as well as FM:DC and FM:FWL). I have not gotten to FM:Comstar, FM:Crusader Clans, FM:WardenClans, or FM:Periphery yet. The LCAF images have been ready for upload for weeks, but I have been distracted and/or busy. Considering the timely debate on page format and image uploads, is there any consensus on how these files should be presented in BTW? The current consensus on Policy Talk: Images seems to have detractors (specifically RE: size and number of images presented), problems that cannot be addressed by simply placing images in an info box or gallery (c.f. discussion on Talk: Armed Forces of the Federated Suns). Merge LCAF with LAAF
It seems like duplicate work having two separate pages for the LCAF and the LAAF - unit names and histories are the same, training academies the same, a few changes thanks to the FedSuns but nothing so radical that it literally ceased to exist/change into something entirely new (i.e. French Royal Army vs French Revolutionary Army). Never mind the fact that the Lyran state went back to its original name. I think the two pages should be merged, with distinctions made within the article when talking the Lyran military during its different phases of existence.
