Major General Sarah Walsh was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 248th Mechanized Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

Despite being married to a senior Bureau of Star League Affairs administrator, it was rumored that Walsh had become involved in a romantic relationship with a local Federated Suns noble on Antietam where her unit was based, Duke Torrin Mallory.
The recently widowed Duke was seen together with Walsh at several events, and reported to have spent time together with her at his mountain villa, which caused an investigation to be opened into Walsh by the SLDF's Office of Inspector General.[1]
