- Author Michael Stackpole’s choice of the DropShip name is intentionally significant, since 'Sigmund Rosenblum' is a pseudonym for Sidney Reilly, a British secret agent that was used as the inspiration for James Bond. The name hints at Justin Allard embarking on a deep cover mission as effectively a super spy.
