Overview
The One Hundred Thirty-First BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XIX Corps, Eighth Army, to Destrict 1 of the Free Worlds League Military Region and then transferred to District 3 by 2765.[1] The 131th survived the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[1]
The 131st remained on the rolls of the Star League in Exile, but was greatly reduced in size. Ellie Kinnison, first khan of Clan Steel Viper, served as a Lieutenant in the Star League in Exile's 131st.[2]
Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech Division the 131st would have been composed with two Brigades of 'Mech regiments and one brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[3]
