Overview
The One Hundred Ninety-seventh Jump Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Gan Singh[1], assigned as a part of the XXIV Corps, Fifth Army, to District 1 of the Capellan Confederation Military Region and then transferred to District 2 in 2765 as part of the redeployment effort to fight the Periphery Uprising.[2]The 197th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
