255th Royal BattleMech Division

Overview
The Two Hundred Fifty-fifth Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XLIII Corps, Seventeenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[1] The 255th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech division the 255th would have been formed from two Brigades of BattleMech regiments and a brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[2]
